Russian Button Covers
by AHW Studio
This is a pair of a perfectly round Soviet Russian mechanisms originating from the 1960's. They are a comfortable and ergonomic pair, enough to make a statement yet remain suitably subtle. Being circular, it fits perfectly on the sleeve - blending in like a button, as it rotates on its center. This displays the complex intricacies clearly.
These are a great alternative to the cufflink - the covers themselves are a universal size and will fit on about every type of shirt button. It isn't only restricted to the sleeve either - popping it on the top button of your shirt is a unique way to wear a tie-alternative!
Circa 1950's - 70's.
Marked 'SU', for the Soviet Union.
17 Jewels (Rubies). Jewels are ruby bearing-points inset by the watchmaker to reduce friction caused by the movement of rotating gears.
