Royal colours. A two-part ring, RESURRECTION is a silver base, inlaid with a gold carving of Isis, holding a sparkling natural blue sapphire.
Egypt is the most ancient source of emerald in the world. The famous Egyptian mines, known as 'Cleopatra's Emerald Mines', were the world's primary source of emeralds until the 16th century.
Green was a sacred colour, associated with the annual flooding by the Nile, and the emerald was a symbol of healing. We created RESURRECTION with a depiction of Aset, the maternal goddess, as tribute to her magical powers of healing.
With outstretched silver wings, her throne-like headdress clutches a royal gemstone: the green Emerald, or blue Sapphire.
