We created a single variant of AQUILA - set with a black Star-Diopside. This stone displays a 4-rayed Star Effect known as Asterism, visible only when reflected off light. Our concept behind this final piece is as Aquila departs our archives, it flies off to new beginnings, to find its own North Star.
We only made 3 original Star-Aquila’s, and only this 1 is available for sale. The other 1 is on my finger as I type this message! (Aaron, the jeweller).
The earliest recorded use of Star Diopside dates back to at least 2500 BCE where it was acquired from mines located near Lake Baikal in Russia’s Siberia region.
